Samuel Chukwueze had yet another poor outing for Villarreal against Real Mallorca on Sunday.

The Nigerian is yet to make a significant impact for the Yellow Submarines in the domestic league this season.

Chukwueze played the entire duration of the match, but couldn’t save his team from going down 2-0 at the Estadio de la Cerámica.

In 90 minutes, Chukwueze failed to create a scoring opportunity, although he attempted four shots, with one hitting the woodwork.

The Nigerian winger has a single assist to his name in 12 LaLiga matches this season.

Vedat Muriqi scored the first for Mallorca in the first half, and later provided an assist for the second scored by Amath Ndiaye in the second stanza.
