Striker Umar Sadiq opened his LaLiga account for Valencia and ended a ten month league goal drought in their 2-0 derby victory over Levante.
Sadiq delivered a memorable moment as Valencia secured an important away win.
The breakthrough arrived in the 64th minute when Largie Ramazani found the net to hand Valencia the lead.
Levante maintained control and doubled their advantage 20 minutes later through Sadiq.
The move began from inside Valencia’s own half during a swift counter attack. The ball was worked forward to Javi Guerra, who lifted his head and spotted Sadiq making a run.
Guerra delivered a precise long pass into his path and the Nigerian forward responded with confidence, striking the ball from outside the box and sending it firmly into the back of the net.
Sadiq celebrated in style, forming his hand into the shape of a cobra, a celebration famously associated with Netherlands international Arnaut Danjuma.

The strike gave Valencia their first win in three matches . It provided a timely boost in their fight to climb the table.
