Umar Sadiq will not be available for Nigeria’s international friendly against Algeria after rupturing his Anterior cruciate ligament.
The Forward sustained the injury in Sunday’s Spanish La Liga clash between his club Real Sociedad and Getafe.
Umar was substituted just before half time after injuring his knee, following a dribble by Getafe player.
The striker visited specialist and had a scan today and has been confirmed he will require surgery.

His injury is a blow for Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro ahead of the clash as Portuguese will also be without Victor Osimhen who sustained hamstring during against Liverpool last week.
