Super Eagles pre-World Cup training camp opened in Uyo on Monday, as more than seven players arrived at the Ibom Meridian Hotel Camp.
Arsenal forward Alex Iwobi joined vice-captain Ogenyi Onazi, Elderson Echiejile, Ola Aina, Bursaspor of Turkey defender William Troost-Ekong, Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Kano Piller hotshot as early arrivals.
At about an hour ago, the Leicester City duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfried Ndidi have joined the team’s camp alongside new Benfica signing, Tyronne Ebuehi, and Plateau United’s goalkeeper Dele Ajiboye.
Others are Chelsea defender, Kenneth Omeruo, Nantes’ Chidozie Awaziem and Lokomotiv Plodiv center back, Steven Eze.
Super Eagles are expected to trade tackles with Leopards of Congo DR next Monday in Port Harcourt before proceeding to London, where they will play the Three Lions of England at the Wembley Stadium on June 2.
