Former Super Eagles goalie Peter Rufai has stated that the current National team goalkeeping woes is down to lack of proper transition which was something he enjoyed and was passed on to others after him up until the equally highly admired Vincent Enyeama.
Rufai speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the national team goalkeepers in the past had goalkeepers who were mentored and observant which aided their grooming and was responsible for the collection of quality options then compared to now when the team keeps struggling to get in a quality shot stopper.
