Super Eagles Technical Adviser Gernot Rohr has expressed his delight with the performance of the team’s foreign based players in the world cup year.
On Tuesday, Kelechi Iheanacho netted a brace for Leicester City in an FA Cup third round – replay – win against Fleetwood and Rohr has told Brila FM he’s comfortable with the “hard work” every player have been showing so far.
” I’m happy everybody is working hard. We will be planning for the friendlies before the world cup, but importantly, we are happy how the players are working hard in their clubs.”
Rohr, who is expected to pen a new deal to keep him in charge of the Super Eagles beyond the World Cup in Russia, returned to Lagos from Morocco where he had been observing the CHAN Eagles.
