Francis Uzoho could start in goal for Nigeria against Poland in Friday’s friendly match according to the team’s media officer, Toyin Ibitoye.
Uzoho and Ikechukwu Ezenwa are the only goalkeepers currently in the Super Eagles camp and both have been involved in the teams practice sessions.
As per Ibitoye in a chat with Godwin Enakhena [Global Sports] either of the goalkeepers could get the nod on Friday, but chances are the younger goal tender will be handed a starting role.
When asked during the interview who he thought will start, the Eagles officer hinted it will be Uzoho.
‘We know what Ezenwa can do and if he is giving the chance to start it’ll be to build up his exposure. We also need to see more of Uzoho. I won’t be surprised if the Coaches go with Uzoho.’
