Joseph Onoja assured Rivers United fans that the team will be back and stronger next season.
Rivers United lost the league crown to Enyimba at the just concluded NFL Championship Playoff,in Lagos.
The Former League Champions also missed out on a CAF Champions League place after finishing third on the overall table, behind Remo Stars and eventual Champions, Enyimba.
Onoja who featured prominently during the playoff has some encouraging for the fans.
“We didn’t loose the game. We only fall to the rules,” the player said. “The gain of the future is stronger than the pain of the moment. It’s time to dust off and get set for the glory ahead.”
