Rivers Angels head coach Tosan Blankson is brimming with optimism as the team prepares for the upcoming NWFL season, which is set to begin on January 8.
Speaking ahead of the new campaign, Blankson highlighted the team’s strong legacy of success and their solid recruitment strategy, ensuring they are fully ready to face the challenges that lie ahead.
“The league will start on the 8th of next month,” Blankson said, adding that the team is eager to get started. “We are waiting for the league to start and see what will come out of it.”
Blankson also reassured fans of Rivers Angels’ reputation as a dominant force in Nigerian women’s football.
“You should know that Rivers Angels is a serial winner. So they are ready. Their recruitment is always perfect,” he stated.
He ended with a confident remark, reinforcing the team’s readiness for the season:
