Report: Madrid uncovers interest in signing Man City’s Kevin De Bruyne

La Liga Champions, Real Madrid CF has indicated interest in luring away Belgian attacker, De Bruyne from Manchester City.

Meanwhile, the Belgium Red Devils’ play-maker, De Bruyne is reportedly set to earn an amount of about £500,000 weekly at the club.

That is the latest development as regards the Belgian international who will, therefore, become the Citizens’ highest-ever earner.

Meanwhile, the former Chelsea star has revealed that he is open to signing a fresh contract at the Etihad Stadium.

As a matter of fact, the Belgian has said he is expecting contract renewal discussions to take place very soon.

He has, however, said he has no worries over his immediate future at the Premier League heavyweights.

That is the current situation as De Bruyne continues to shine in a new position under City manager, Pep Guardiola.

The former Chelsea and Wolfsburg player has begun the 2017/18 season on a sound footing for the Premier League leaders.

He has also so far played more in the midfield as the most important link of City’s wonderful attacking pattern.

The Dutchman has now revealed that the Mancunians made early contact with his agent, Patrick de Koster.

He also said that was during the recent summer transfer window over the possibility of extending his stay at City.

And that was the case despite the fact that the 26-year-old’s current deal has four more years before it expires.

De Bruyne is one of Premier League’s best performers during this season, scoring four goals and assisting nine for Manchester City in all competitions.
