Ola Aina has finally been cleared by FIFA to play for Nigeria’s senior national team Super Eagles according to reports.
Aina, who has played for England’s youth teams, was ineligible to play against Cameroon in Uyo, as the Nigerian FA did not receive his international clearance early enough.
Per Colin Udoh, the player’s clearance was received on Friday and now he’s expected to add depth to the squad available to Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr:
Further good news for @NGSuperEagles. Heard earlier that Ola Aina’s clearance has come through from FIFA. Additional depth in squad

He could now make his international debut for the Eagles on Monday in the second-leg 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Cameroon in Yaounde.
Nigeria could also become the first African team to qualify for the World Cup on Monday.
If Zambia and Algeria play a goalless draw in Ndola on Saturday and Nigeria get a fourth straight win in Yaounde, the Eagles would confirm their place in Russia 2018.
