Bayern Munich have set their sights on Leicester midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, for a potential loan deal, as the German champions look to bolster its midfield before the summer transfer window closes.

Coach Thomas Tuchel has taken notice of Bayern’s interest in Ndidi and is eager to have the midfielder join his squad as soon as possible.

According to the German daily Kicker, Bayern are keen on securing a season-long loan deal for the Nigerian midfielder.

Meanwhile, it is reported that Leicester City are also keen on negotiating a contract renewal with Ndidi, whose current deal expires at the end of this season.

One potential option being discussed is extending the Midfielder’s contract, followed by a loan move to Bayern Munich.

Ndidi, who is also being linked with a return to the Premier League with Nottingham Forest, is considered a valuable asset at the King Power Stadium, but a move to Bayern will be a significant step forward in his career.

Although there have been speculations about the Player’s departure from the Foxes this summer, he has surprisingly remained with Leicester as they aim to regain promotion back to the Premier League.
