Remo Stars won’t be be relegated, Says Bolaji Michael

Remo Stars Football Club forward, Bolaji Michael believes his side can still retain their Premier League status despite the recent bad run of results.

The Sky Blues Boys played out another frustrating home draw with Rangers International of Enugu at the Gateway Stadium in Sagamu on Wednesday, a result that left the team in the 11th on the log of Group A with three wins from 12 games.

Following the run of bad results, Technical Adviser of the team Kennedy Boboye hit out at the players, calling them “Average players”, but Bolaji told www.brila.net that team will beat the drop this season.

” The position we are now is not looking good for us, because the way the league is going now if you draw or a lose at home then it will be difficult to survive, but I believe in this team and I’m sure we can fight back ”

The Former Kada City player added that his team has to take up the challenge of picking points away from home.

” If every team can pick points away from home, then why can’t we do the same? we must start fighting for every point from now till the end of the season.”

Remo Stars will host Rivers United who is on a bad run of three consecutive losses on Sunday in matchday 13 of the Nigeria Professional Football League at Gateway International Stadium Sagamu.
