Remo Stars bounced back from defeat against Rivers United with an impressive 1-2 at Bayelsa United, on Sunday.
After 2-1 home win over Rangers International at home last Sunday, the Sky Blues embarked on a trip to Port Harcourt for their rescheduled week one game against Rivers United where they lost 2-0.
The result means Remo Stars, one of the title contenders, must avoid another defeat in Yenagoa to avoid early set back.
Adams Olamilekan gave the Sky Blues the lead on four minutes after he was set up by Samuel Anakwe.
The team then produced extraordinary defensive display to maintain their advantage before substitute Sikiru Alimi increased the advantage 12 minutes from time.
Bayelsa United brought the game to nervy end when Ekeson Okorie pulled one back in the 88th minute.
Remo Stars held on for the win, their second of the campaign and first ever away win in the three weeks told Nigeria Premier Football League campaign.
