Jide Fatokun won’t be moving to Remo Stars after talks between both parties broke down.

It was widely reported that Fatokun will be signing for the Sky Blues Army ahead of next season, after his club Kwara United agreed to let him leave.

The move to Remo Stars however has taken a new twist and the player is set to remain with the Harmony Boys for next season.

Brila.net understands that both parties couldn’t reach an agreement on salary as Remo Stars aren’t prepared to match his excessive demand.

Fakotun is one of the most sorted after youngsters in the NPFL, following his consistent form for the past two seasons.

Like Remo Stars, Kwara United are competing in the CAF Confederations Cup and Fatokun staying put is a massive lift for the club.
