Share Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Pinterest Email Remo Stars kept their hopes of reaching the NPFL playoff alive with a big win at Plateau United at the New Jos Stadium, on Sunday. A 2-1 away win against Plateau United at the weekend saw Remo Stars move to third in group A. Late strikes from Olamilekan Adams and Olalekan Adedayo respectively cancelled out Zaidu Salisu’s opening goal for Plateau United. Zaidu scored the game’s first in the 70th minute with a fine finish from the edge of the area. However, Adams equalized in the 81st minute, benefiting from a mix up in the host backline and stab home the ball. The visitors snatched the late win through Olalekan Adedayo (88′), who struck an absolute thunderbolt that left the goalkeeper stranded. It was the first time Remo Stars have secure three points against Plateau United away from home.
