RB Sodiq Ismail remains confident that he will soon get another opportunity to represent the Super Eagles.
Ismail made his debut for Nigeria in June, featuring in the second-half of a World Cup qualifying match against Benin Republic, held in Abidjan.
Despite his promising performance, the right-back was not included in the squad for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda in September.
As the Super Eagles prepare for their upcoming match against Libya later this month, Ismail is hopeful of earning a recall to the national team.
“I’ve been performing well in recent weeks, contributing with goals, assists, and most importantly, helping my team secure victories,” Ismail told Brila.net.
“Everyone knows what I am capable of. I believe in my abilities and what I can bring to the team.”
“Playing for my country has always been a dream, and I am confident that I will get my chance again.”
So far this season, Sadiq Ismail has scored twice and provided one assist for Remo Stars, further solidifying his case as one of the Super Eagles best right full back.
