Remo Stars head coach, Daniel Ogunmodede has expressed confidence that his team will perform well in the upcoming CAF Champions League season, drawing from their past experiences.
Remo has previously been eliminated in the first round on two occasions. However, Ogunmodede believes that this year will be different.
Speaking ahead of their preliminary round match against Morocco’s AS FAR, which will take place on Sunday, Ogunmodede shared his optimism:
“We learn from our experiences, and I believe we will do better this time around,” he told CAF Online.
“It’s our third time on the continent, and we’re more experienced now.”
Remo Stars are set to host the Moroccan side in the first leg of their contest, hoping to secure a positive result as they aim to advance further in the tournament.
