Umar Sadiq is back in training and gradually working his way back to full fitness after a long time injury.
The forward hasn’t kicked a ball since suffering a career threatening injury while on duty for his new club, Real Sociedad back in September.
Sadiq suffered during Real Sociedad’s league clash against Getafe in September 2022. The lanky forward fell awkwardly on his knee and was later diagnosed with a Knee Ligament Injury.
After a successful surgery, the 26-year-old spent more than six months on the sidelines, although the former UD Almeria man is now back on the pitch training with the ball.
Umar Sadiq trained on Friday and could feature before the end of the season for the club.
The striker has one goal in two games for Real Sociedad before he suffered the injury.
