Super Eagles forward Victor Boniface has emerged as a transfer target for Spanish giants, Real Madrid next summer.
Real Madrid are still without a No.9 since the departure of Karim Benzema and coach Carlo Ancelotti has had to rely heavily on Joselu.
According to Spanish newspaper Defensa Central, Boniface is now one of the players lined up as replacement for Benzema.
Boniface is currently one of the hottest football properties in Europe, and has constantly received rave review across Europe.
Bayer Leverkusen paid €20m to sign the Nigeria international from Union Saint-Gilloise and rewarded his employers with 11 goals in just eight appearances.
Real Madrid reportedly will try to lure the forward to the Spanish capital, and also considering appointing his current manager Xabi Alonso as their next manager.
Boniface is just few months into his five year contract at Leverkusen and the German side could request for a fee in the region of €100m for the striker.
