Rasheedat Ajibade has been named the Spanish Liga F’s Player of the Month for September after an impressive run for Atletico Madrid.
The 24 year-old forward scored five goals and contributed two assists in four matches throughout the month.

Ajibade edged out competition from Barcelona’s Ewa Pajor, Real Madrid’s Caroline Weir, Levante Badalona’s María Llompart, and Athletic Club Femenino’s Nerea Nevado to claim the award.
Ajibade has been one of Atletico Madrid’s key players this season, and she continued her stellar form with a strong showing in their recent 2-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao.
Currently, she stands as the second-leading scorer in the Spanish Liga F, with 5 goals and 3 assists.
