Former coach of NPFL side and CAF Confederation cup campaigners Enugu Rangers Benedict Ugwu has stated that he has been clearly vindicated with the many struggles of the club at domestic and continental level although not happy how bad things have gone with the club so far this season.
Ugwu speaking in a chat with brila.net said the club’s faltering run so far has shown that he was not at fault and was only made a sacrificial lamb when he should have simply been backed after a shaky start to the league season just about five games into the season.
He however, express hope that he believes the club will bounce back.
“I’m not happy that Rangers is losing but my only happiness is that my God has vindicated me. It’s not because I am not good or I’m the fault.
”I’m not the fault of the club, so they have seen it but I know we will come back that’s if they realise on time because I know they are feeling guilty of removing me.”
