Rangers management satisfied with Salisu Yusuf and Mbwas Mangut

The management of Rangers international of Enugu are delighted to have Salisu Yusuf and Mbwas Mangut as their interim coach and assistant coach for the season.

The duo were brought in as replacement for Benedict Ugwu and technical team following their dismal start to the new season.

Salisu Yusuf who led Kano Pillars to the Nigerian League title in 2008 and Enyimba to domestic Cup success in 2013 was however sent by NFF to help steady the sinking ship of the Club.

Rangers spokesman Norbert Okolie meanwhile confirmed that the Club is happy with Yusuf and his assistant Mbwas Mangut and thanked the Nigeria Football Federation for coming to their aid.

“They both desire positive results and the management is happy with NFF’s support,” said Okolie.

Salisu Yusuf will lead the team out for the first time on Sunday when they take on Pyramids of Egypt in the Group A opener of CAF Confederations Cup at the Nnamdi Azikwe stadium.
