Rangers Int’l have secured the 2024 NPFL title following a decisive 2-0 victory against Bendel Insurance.

The Flying Antelopes clinched the championship with one game remaining, thanks to goals from Kenechukwu Agu and Chidiebere Nwobodo, delivering coach Fidelis Ilechukwu the coveted trophy.

This latest win is the eighth league title in the club’s storied history, leaving them just one title shy of record-holders Enyimba FC.

Rangers previously won the league in 1974, 1975, 1977, 1981, 1982, 1984, 2016, and now 2024.

With 68 points from 37 matches, Rangers finished three points ahead of Remo Stars, solidifying their position at the top of the league standings.
