Rangers International Ready for 2024/25 NPFL Season Opener

Rangers International, fresh off their 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) championship victory, are set to kick off the new season with a home game against El-Kanemi Warriors.

The match will take place at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium on Saturday.

Rangers technical adviser, Fidelis Ilechukwu, has cautioned his players to be prepared for a challenging encounter but believes the NPFL reigning champions will secure the 3 points.

“We are fully focused on our first league match this week at home against El-Kanemi Warriors,” Ilechukwu shared with Nigerian Players.

“It’s going to be a tough game, but I’m not afraid of them. We will beat them at the Cathedral.”

“I trust my boys. We are the league champions, and we NEVER SAY DIE.”

Rangers, known as the Flying Antelopes, secured their eighth NPFL title last season and are eager to start the new campaign on a high note.

El-Kanemi warriors on the other hand, fresh of the CAF Confederation Cup elimination will look to bounce back and start on a winning note.

The Borno based club won the President Federation Cup last season against Abia Warriors.
