Captain of NPFL side and Nigeria’s remaining CAF Confederation cup campaigner Enugu Rangers Okey Odita has stated that he is ready for Sunday’s reverse fixture against Gabonese side AS Pelican and wants divine intervention to aid the team’s quest.
Odita speaking in a chat with www.brila.net also called on Nigerians to pray and support the team for the collective good of all as Nigeria’s representative in the competition. He also stressed that the importance of the game is not lost on the players
“We are set, everybody knows the importance of the match. By God grace, we hope it’s going to be an easy match but it’s not going to be easy because everybody knows the task ahead.
“But we pray to God that God will help us to make the game easy for us. My message to Nigerians is for them to pray for us. So that we can win and win well.”
