Rangers International FC has been awarded ₦150 million for winning just concluded season’s Nigeria Premier Football League.
The Flying Antelopes clinched the trophy in Jos after a 2-1 victory in a dead rubber game against Gombe United.
During the match, Kazeem Ogunleye scored the opening goal for Rangers just three minutes in.
Godwin Obaje then extended the lead with his 12th goal of the season in the seventh minute, securing a 2-0 advantage for the team.
Gombe United, already relegated, managed to pull one goal back when Anas Hassan scored in the 25th minute.
However, it was not enough to alter the outcome.
Rangers also received the cheque for the prize money after the match, celebrating their successful season under the guidance of coach Fidelis Ilechukwu.
