Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has stated that picking the ticket for the 2022 Africa cup of nations remains the priority for the Nigeria senior national team ahead of coming weekend’s fixture against the Squirrels of Benin republic.
Rohr speaking in a chat gathered by www.brila.net after the team’s Wednesday training session said while the Super Eagles want to win the game against the Squirrels, they will try to achieve this but qualification remains the utmost priority.
“We want to have the qualification, the qualification is the first step for us. If we can win the game of course we would like to win it but it will be very difficult. It will not be easy, we have to stay humble we are confident we have good players we have some players that are doing very well at the club. So we will try to do very well of course.”
