Quadri, held off a strong challenge from Chinese star Sun Wen to secure his passage to the next round on Thursday. The Nigerian won the round of 32 tie 3-1, and sent the Chinese parking in the process. The match ended 12-10, 15-13, 13-11, and (11-8) in the favor of the African number one.
