QPR Manager’s Tweet sparks Leon Balogun Transfer Rumor

English Championship side Queens Park Rangers are interested in Nigerian defender Leon Balogun.

Balogun is available for free transfer, following the expiration of his contract from Glasgow Rangers.

His departure from Rangers was confirmed on Friday and QPR current head Coach Michael Beale is one of the notable names who paid tribute to Balogun.

Beale Tweeted:

Balogun and Beale worked together at the Ibrox and they both helped the team to win the Scottish Premiership in the 2020/21 season and the Scottish Cup in the 2021/22 campaign.

It is understood that, Beale could lure the experienced defender ahead of next season.

Balogun played 37 games for Rangers last season and scored two goals.
