Paris Saint-Germain are allegedly planning to launch a £265m bid for Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo immediately after the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup.
The Ligue 1 champions are willing to pay the Portugal international £40m a year to play in the French capital, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The 33-year-old, who is currently on international duty at the World Cup with Portugal, dropped a strong hint that he has played his last game for Real after helping them defeat Liverpool 3-1 in the Champions League final.
Since then, Ronaldo’s former club Manchester United have emerged as the frontrunners to sign him but an official approach does not appear to have been made.
Meanwhile, Real have been linked with a move for PSG’s Neymar and may be willing to discuss a deal which would see Ronaldo move in the opposite direction.
