Ademola Lookman and Paris Saint-Germain have finally reached an agreement regarding a potential transfer from Atalanta.
Transfer expert, Nicolo Schira revealed that both parties have also agreed on the contract’s duration.
The 26-year-old forward is set to sign a five-year contract worth €5 million per season, which is approximately three times his current earnings at Atalanta.
PSG are now preparing a formal bid for Atalanta and must convince the Bergamo-based club to sell the player.
Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini admitted that the player’s decision to submit a transfer request was unexpected and has put the club in a difficult position.
Similarly, Atalanta’s Sporting Director Luca Percassi stated that is unhappy with Ademola Lookman’s behaviour, insisting the club reserves the right to make the final decision on any transfer.
Lookman is currently valued at €40 million, according to Transfermarkt.
The Nigerian international striker has scored 32 goals and provided 18 assists in 79 competitive games for the Serie A club.
