Former Super Eagles midfielder, Paul Obiefule says that Finidi George deserves his the National team head coach role because he has proven his prowess in the past years with Enyimba.

Obiefule was speaking on Brila FM’s “No Holds and Barred” with Ifeanyi Udeze, where he admitted not knowing Finidi personally but he is well aware of his abilities both with Enyimba and the national team.

Finidi George won the NPFL title with Enyimba in the 2022-23 season.

He highlighted that the Coach has shown his credentials and experience over the past years by winning the NPFL with Enyimba and also working as Super Eagles assistant coach.

Obiefule also mentioned that he had discussed with Daniel Amokachi, who is the Super Eagles first assistant coach.

He then concluded by saying that if both coaches can find good working Chemistry, it would be a successful time at the helm of affairs for the national team.
