Belgian Jupiler League player of the year, Paul Onuachu says he’s happy at Genk and there is a possibility of starting the next campaign with the club.
Onuachu has been linked with transfer to other clubs following his outstanding 2020-2021 campaign, where he scored 33 goals in 36 matches.
The outstanding performances also earned the Nigerian Belgian Jupiler league player of the year, adding it to the golden shoe.
Speaking on his future, Onuachu refused to comment on the transfer rumors, but reiterated that, he is still a Genk player.
“Right now, I’m in Belgium here in Brussels, I’m still a Genkie and of course next season, I’m starting with Genk. So I’m still a Genkie ” he told Belgian media outlet, Eleven Sports.
