Super Eagles defender Bright Samuel-Osayi has expressed satisfaction with the team’s performance post-AFCON.

Osayi-Samuel made this remark after Nigeria’s 2-1 victory against Ghana in an international friendly on Friday at the Grand Stade de Marrakech, Morocco.

Speaking on his AFCON experience, the Fenerbahçe defender expressed his excitement about gaining valuable playing time and reaching the final in his debut appearance.

When asked to choose between winning the AFCON or league titles, Osayi humorously remarked:

“You want to kill me because if I say Afcon now, the Turkish fans will kill me. I don’t know, I’ll just say I’ll rather win both.”

Looking ahead, Nigeria is preparing to face Mali in their second International match this Tuesday.
