Ashleigh Plumptre was delighted after her hat-trick bagged the victory for Al-Ittihad against rivals Al Ahly.

Plumptre scored three times to help her team to a 6-2 success, in the Saudi Arabia women’s Premier League on Thursday night. It is Plumptre’s second hat-trick in the league.

The former Leicester defender now has six goals from six games since moving to the rich Asian Country.

“Congratulations to the team and the fans. Happy with 6-2 derby win and to contribute some goals as well,” She said in a short video posted on X.

Following the win, Al-Ittihad moved to second place on the league standings with 13 points.
