Plateau United recorded the biggest win in this season’s Nigeria Premier Football League.
The Peace Boys thrashed visitors, El Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri 5-0 at the New Jos Stadium on Wednesday.
The Fidelis Ilechukwu’s side race to a three goals lead in the first half, thanks to two-minute opener from Sunday Anthony.
Jackson Eru, and Mustapha Ibrahim Yuga, added two more goals to complete a perfect first half display.
Two further goals from Michael Tochukwu and Uche Onwuasanya in the second stanza saw Plateau United maintain their unbeaten home run.
With the win, they leapfrogged Remo Stars into third of the Group A, while El-Kanemi Warriors dropped to 9th on the table.
