Kano Pillars striker Nyima Nwangwa has stated that his side is unperturbed by the bright start of Porthacourt based Nigeria Professional Football League side Rivers united after matchday three round of games saw Rivers maintain a perfect start to the campaign and already four points clear of also unbeaten Kano Pillars.
Nyima who scored for Pillars in the 1-1 draw upon his return to the team after missing the first two games of the season told brila.net that Kano Pillars want to continue to take each game as it comes in the league after posting 1 win and 2 draws already and stressed that the focus on Rivers united will be to beat them when they come face to face with Kano Pillars.
“The team has been doing well, the momentum of the team has been great and we are all ready to take the club to the next level. We are not noticing the fact that they are picking their points fast but we are believing that when it’s time to face them, probably it will be the end of the road for them.”
