Kano Pillars have reported the attack on their team by some fans of the El Kanemi Warriors which resulted to the destruction of one of the glasses covering the windows.

According to the club’s Media Officer, Rilwanu Idris Malikawa, “one of the side mirror of the team bus was smashed by some fans of El-Kanemi Warriors FC.”

“We’ve since sent our complaint to the organizing body of the league through the Match Commissioner, Comrade Awaisu Kuta from Niger State.”

El Kanemi Warriors failed to score in a home match at the Maiduguri Township Stadium for the first time since March 2013, ending a run of 52 consecutive games.
