Peter Olayinka is excited after playing a crucial role in helping Red Star Belgrade secure a spot in the UEFA Champions League.

The Serbian champions defeated Bodo/Glimt 2-0 in the second leg on Wednesday, overturning a 2-1 loss from the first leg in Norway to advance 3-2 on aggregate.

Olayinka, a forward for Nigeria’s Super Eagles, was instrumental in the victory, playing 75 minutes and attempting three shots on goal.

Following the match, he celebrated with the club’s fans, thanking them for their unwavering support.

“God is the greatest! What a night and fantastic atmosphere,” Peter Olayinka shared on social media.

The 29-year-old has appeared in two UEFA Champions League matches for Red Star Belgrade this season, though he has yet to find the back of the net.

Last season, he helped the club achieve a domestic double.
