West Brom legends from years gone by will be donning the stripes again in aid of a very Baggies cause – including Ex-Eagles striker, Peter Odemwingie.
The former Albion striker says he is looking forward to ‘putting on the Blue and White stripes’ in the tribute to a club legend.
Odemwingie, Darren Moore, Lee Hughes, Russell Hoult and Kevin Donovan are among a host of former West Brom players making up an All-Stars side who will play at Halesowen Town on April 29.
The match – West Brom All-Stars team versus Boing FC – has been organized by Baggie Bird Dave Challenor to raise money for Richard Eades, formerly the Albie mascot at the Hawthorns.
The father-of-two died suddenly on Boxing Day – and as well as the all-stars side, there will also be a mascot match, including those from Wolves and Aston Villa, on the day.
