Team Nigeria’s 4×400m mixed relay team narrowly missed qualifying for the final of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

The quartet comprising Samuel Ogazi, Ella Onojuvwevwo, Emmanuel Ifeanyi Ojeli, and Patience Okon-George, finished fourth in their heat with a time of 3:11.99.

Despite their strong performance, the team fell short of advancing, as Great Britain secured first place with a national record of 3:10.61.

The Netherlands and Italy finished second and third with times of 3:10.81 and 3:11.59, respectively.

Although Nigeria did not make the final, they set a new national record.
