Spain defender, Laia Aleixandri has confirmed her team is ready for the Group C clash against Nigeria’s Super Falcons at the Stade de la Beaujoire, Nantes, today.

The Women World Cup defending champions, secured a 2-1 victory over Japan in their opening game on Thursday.

A win against Nigeria would ensure Spain’s progression to the knockout round of the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Meanwhile, a lose for Nigeria might automatically eliminate them from the competition.

“Any game in the Olympics is a battle, but it’s true that with Nigeria we are expecting a very physical match. We are prepared,” Aleixandra stated.

The Group C clash will kick off at 6 pm Nigeria time.
