Paris 2024: Rosemary Chukwuma Advances to Women’s 100m Semifinals

Nigeria’s Rosemary Chukwuma has secured her place in the semifinals of the women’s 100m at the ongoing Olympics in Paris.

Chukwuma finished in 3rd place with a time of 11.26 seconds, and is the only Nigerian to reach the next round of the event.

Ewa Swoboda of Poland won the race with a season-best of 10.99 seconds.

Great Britain’s Dina Asher-Smith came in 2nd with a time of 11.01 seconds.
