Paris 2024: Opeyori Ready for Olympic Games Challenge

Anuoluwapo Opeyori, Africa’s number one badminton player, is set to commence his quest for Olympic glory at the Paris 2024 Games on Tuesday.
Opeyori will compete against Switzerland’s Tobias Kuenzi at La Chapelle Arena in his opening match, scheduled for 6:30 PM C.A.T.
“First matchday at the 2024 Paris Olympics tomorrow (Tuesday) by 6:30 PM C.A.T. I’m very sure you guys can tell how excited I am. I will give it nothing but my absolute best,” Opeyori expressed on social media.
Having made his Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020, Opeyori is determined to surpass his previous performance.
“I am excited for my first game in the Olympics Paris 2024. It is an honour to represent Nigeria. I have put my heart and soul into training every day and night, and I am happy to represent,” he stated.
Following his initial match, Opeyori is set to face China’s Li Shi Feng on Wednesday.
Despite the stiff competition, the Nigerian star remains focused and optimistic about his chances.
