Ofili struggled running in the outside lane, and clocked a time of 22.24 seconds.

Meanwhile, the gold medal was claimed by the United States’ Gabrielle Thomas, who finished with a time of 21.83 seconds.

Julien Alfred of Saint Lucia secured the silver with a time of 22.08 seconds.

Brittany Brown, also from the United States, took the bronze, finishing in 22.20 seconds.
