Favour Ofili has secured her place in the semi-finals of the women’s 200m at the ongoing Paris Olympic Games.
In heat 6, Ofili clocked a time of 22.24 seconds, outpacing Great Britain’s Dina Asher-Smith.
The British Athlete finished second with a time of 22.28 seconds, and Gina Bass-Bittaye, who came in third at 22.84 seconds.
Ofili’s time of 22.24 seconds was the second-fastest across all six 200m heats held this morning, surpassed only by the United States’ Gabby Thomas, who recorded a time of 22.20 seconds.
