France dominated the game from the outset, with Nigeria struggling to replicate their impressive performance from their previous outing against Australia.

A series of turnovers by the D’Tigress proved costly, as the French team put on an efficient shooting display.

The first quarter ended with a 24-20 lead for France, and the gap widened slightly by halftime, with the score at 38-31.

The third quarter saw further difficulties for Nigeria, as the hosts extended their lead to 54-39.

In the fourth quarter, the European team pulled away decisively, sealing their victory with a final score of 75-54.

Nigeria will next face Canada on Sunday in their continuing Olympic campaign, and hoping to seal qualification to the next round.
