Paris 2024: D’Tigress Ready to Compete – Wakama

The head coach of Nigeria’s Women Basketball Team, D’Tigress, Rene Wakama has said the team is in high spirits as they continue training in their new camp in Germany, ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Wakama expressed her confidence in the team’s preparedness, noting that the African champions will test their mettle in a friendly game against Germany in Berlin on July 19.

 

 

They will then face Serbia in Belgrade on July 21, followed by a match against Japan in Lille, France, on July 24.

In a chat with NBBF media, Wakama stated, “Things have been going well in the camp in the last few days. We have had great practice sessions, and the girls are in high spirits.”

D’Tigress are grouped in Group B alongside Canada, France, and Australia, with the Olympics starting on July 26.
