Nigeria’s Temitope Adeshina finished 9th in Group B of the women’s High Jump event at the Paris 2024 Olympics, missing all three attempts at 1.92m and subsequently being eliminated from the competition.

Temitope failed her first effort at 1.88 meters, but she succeeded on her second try.

She made an effort to jump 1.92 meters but failed the first time.

Although Adeshina did not advance to the final, she has had an outstanding season, breaking the Nigerian record with a jump of 1.97m and qualifying for her first Olympic Games.

Temitope Adeshina is the first Nigerian high jumper to qualify for the Olympics since Doreen Amata in 2016.
